Today I led members of my 3 prayer groups on a Pilgrimage.
We began with Mass at St. Patrick’s. After Mass we headed out to Immaculate Conception church in Delta. We were using 2 buses. One bus had 49 people (mainly Chinese speaking members), the other bus had 22 people (mainly English speaking). We prayed he Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary on our way to Immaculate Conception.
We arrived Immaculate Conception church before 10 AM. We prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in English before the Blessed Sacrament.
St. Anne (the mother of Mary) is the saint closely related to the Mystery of the Immaculate Conception. After the Chaplet, I blessed each individual with the relic of St. Anne.
We left Immaculate Conception church at around 10:30 AM, and we arrived Sacred Heart church in Ladner at around 11:15 AM.
We first spent some quiet time praying at the new church.
At around 11:30 AM, we walked over to the Chapel of the Augustinians Monastery.
We prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in Chinese before the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel.
After the Chaplet, I blessed each individual with the relic of St. Margret Mary (the saint who saw the Sacred Heart) at the small shrine of the Sacred Heart.
At the small shrine of the Sacred Heart, there are relics of different saints.
We left Sacred Heart church after noon, and we started praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. We arrived at a mall in Langley at around 1 PM and had lunch there till 2 PM.
We arrived Queen of Peace (Dominican Contemplative Nuns) Monastery at around 2:45 PM. The nuns were very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed listening to them, chatting with them, and looking at their art works.
At the end, I blessed each individual (and any religious articles that they had bought from the nuns) with relic of St. Dominic in the chapel, while 2 sisters were singing hymns for us.
We finished our 15 decades Rosary by praying the Glorious Mysteries on our way back to Vancouver.
