The Holy Spirit is the soul of the Church, the invisible soul of the visible Church. The Holy Spirit is to the Church what your soul is to your body: he is its very life. “The Lord, the Giver of life”

“The more the Holy Spirit finds Mary, His dear and inseparable spouse, in any soul, the more active and mighty He becomes in producing Jesus Christ in that soul, and that soul in Jesus Christ” (Saint Louis De Montfort'sTrue Devotion to Mary #20).

St. Maria of Jesus Crucified (1846-1878) was an ardent promoter of devotion to the Holy Spirit. As an ardent promoter of devotion to the Holy Spirit, Mary of Jesus Crucified also had a great love for the Church and the Pope.

Love and obedience (law) are not opposites. Love is not first of all a feeling; it is a willing. To love God is simply to say, “Thy will be done,” and mean it, and live it. And that will of God is expressed by commandments.

Jesus is the way.  He does not only give advice and directions. He takes us by the hand and leads us; he strengthens us and guides us personally every day. 

Jesus said: ‘I am the truth.’ A person’s character does not really affect the teaching of geometry or astronomy or Latin verbs. But if someone proposes to teach moral truth, that person’s character makes all the difference in the world.
